Study Title


Evaluation of medical professional in advising patients to quit smoking


The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of online training platform for healthcare professionals in advising patients to quit smoking. We sincerely invite you to participate in the short questionnaire after the smoking cessation service training and the follow-up questionnaire after 3 months. With the 70% passing grade in online training, 1 CME/ CNE point will be awarded after completing the post-course survey and a certificate will be sent to you via email . We hope that the information you provide will enable us to better understand the current practice of delivering smoking cessation intervention, and help improve future smoking cessation services.


Voluntary Participation


This study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board of the University of Hong Kong/Hospital Authority Hong Kong West Cluster (HKU/HA HKW IRB). All collected information will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used for research purposes. When publishing statistics or research results, your personal information should not be disclosed. Participation in this research is entirely voluntary. You can choose whether to participate in this research and have the right to withdraw at any time. The services and rights you receive will not be affected.
